Recent and Current Engagements
Strategic Plan Development
We are working with a Ministry Christian Supply organization that has been in business for over 30 years. We are supporting their change management efforts and need to develop a strategic business plan because of new leadership, an expansion in operations and staff turnover.
Leadership Transition
We are working with Kingdom Worship Center and Columbia Family Worship Center, two churches in one location currently led by Bishop Ralph Dennis to support them in having a smooth transition from Bishop Dennis to his son, Pastor Greg Dennis. The process includes assessing the congregation, leaders and community to understand how KWC and CFWC can be a more culturally competent church that meets the needs of the congregation and community.
Spiritual Coaching Ministry Development
We are working with a New Psalmist Baptist Church team to develop a Spiritual Coaching Ministry. The process includes the development of an in-house coaching modell, guidelines, developing in-house coaches, criteria and identifying the mechanisms of the ministry.
Leadership Development and Organizational Clarity
STG worked with fellow colleagues to help Creative Urbans in Amsterdam, Netherlands identify the roadblocks to having their student leaders take full ownership and responsibility for driving the organization. STG supported the process of identifying their key strategic actions to move the organization where they needed to go to realize their vision.
Church CHANGE Strategy
We are working with Grace Presbyterian of Baltimore,
Maryland to develop church strategies to increase community and congregation engagement as well as to position them for a positive growth curve. The project entails preparing the church for the
upcoming Pastoral transition. The church has begun the process
by partaking in the Church Health and Community Assessments to gain a perspective on the current state and to enable a successful future state and transition to the new Pastor.
Ministry Leadership Retreat
We developed and facilitated a one day leadership team
building and planning session with the New Psalmist Baptist Church Covenant Keepers Ministry to re-align the leadership team, get clear on roles and responsibilities and clarity of actions to move
the ministry to the next level. The session resulted
in clarity of ongoing team dynamics, an action plan to propel the ministry forward, clarity of roles and responsibilities and increased leadership capability.
Church Consultation and Culture Health Assessment
We met with the senior leadership team of Garment of Praise Ministries in Capital Heights, MD to identify minor changes that would have a major impact on church visibility in the surrounding neighborhood and community. This consultation led to conducting a Church Health Assessment that will be used to develop a short and long term strategic plan. The church has already begun to experience growth in membership and positive change. They are eager to complete the overall strategic plann to continue to move forward to God’s divine purpose for their ministry.
