Our Approach
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matt. 28:19-20 This scripture is the philosophy in how we approach any consultative project. Our goal is to position your church for growth in the body of Christ as directed by God’s word.
Our consulting process is used in the context of God’s word. We strive to develop denominational regions, congregations and community systems to be one body seeking Christ using the Ministry Consulting Process as our approach.
We view opportunities from a systemic and strategic perspective. We look at the church, ministry or process as a whole to understand how it is working. We then seek to understand the individuals, systems, or processes that make up the whole in order to address any barriers or dysfunction. We do this while involving the body of Christ, the congregation, in the strategic improvement process.
The following key areas are addressed throughout any assessment and/or consultation:
- Clarity of Vision/Mission – Existence, understanding and or development of a broad statement that clearly conveys values and inspires commitment and action to meeting the goals of the church and/or ministry based on God’s word. Are your leaders aligned with the church mission?
- Leadership Effectiveness- Ministry staff, leaders, ministers, and church employees who can “model” Godly behaviors in all their interactions with others. Do you need to develop your staff’s leadership skills?
- Ministry/Work Team Effectiveness- Congregational, community, or outreach programs that align with the vision and mission of the church while meeting the needs of the community and the congregation. Are your ministries meeting the needs of your community?
- Ministerial Structure- The integration of people, information and technology within the church. Is there alignment in the philosophy of the church/ministry and the process at which goals are established and met?
- Church Health and Culture- What do people see, feel and or experience when they enter your church environment? What are the stated and unstated norms? Are they what you desire them to be? Are you creating the culture/environment you desire based on God’s word?
